The American Festival Concert Band, organized in 1993, is composed of the area’s finest professional musicians. The band features soprano vocalist Paula Phillips, a former Barnum Festival Jenny Lind.
If your organization would like a special holiday concert, a seasonal performance, or a traditional “concert on the green,” we can tailor a program to suit your needs.
The band performs classic band repertoire at concerts and functions in and near Fairfield County, Connecticut. Selections include Sousa marches, Broadway show tunes, and jazz medleys, and will appeal to an audience of all ages.
The band's members are professional musicians, teachers, and conductors.
We offer many instrumental soloists and small ensembles from within the group. A "big-band" style jazz ensemble is also available.
Note: all concerts (except November, December and February) are outdoor "bring your own lawn chair."
